Board Appreciation Fellowship!
CSM held an appreciation fellowship in March for its Board, staff, and Junior Board. Several board members, junior board members, various SWATT (serving with available time and talent) volunteers, all the staff, and several spouses were in attendance. Everyone gathered in the Christian Service Mission classroom, and it was the first time many on the team had the privilege to meet the Board members and the first time the Junior Board met the Executive Board. One of our previous members, David Adkison, rolled off the Executive Board after serving 12 years, and Tracy Hipps wanted to honor his time serving. Tracy spoke some words of encouragement, and David Adkison spoke words of affirmation to Tracy in remembrance of their work together. It was a great time of fellowship.
