With the change of seasons comes new faces here at CSM– Jennifer Brown and Lauren Bielstein are our fall interns, and we love them already!
Jen Brown (pictured right) is in her final year at Talladega College and attends New Vision Christian Church. We became connected to Jen through Kids Across America, one of our oldest ministry partners. Throughout her teenage years, Jen joined CSM as we took hundreds of youth to KAA. For the past two years, she has served at KAA as a student program coordinator! Jen loves getting to see how many different kinds of people gather at CSM to contribute toward the shared vision of connecting resources with needs. We love having her around, as her caring heart and patience for others are contagious in our office!
Lauren Bielstein (pictured left) is a sophomore at Samford University studying Business with a concentration in Social Entrepreneurship & Non-Profit Management. She attends Dawson Baptist Church. Lauren became connected to CSM through the Micah Fellows program at Samford, a service-based honors program rooted in Micah 6:8. She has loved her experience with Micah Fellows and has experienced strong community within the group. One of her favorite things about Birmingham is Rodney Scott BBQ- this is super convenient, considering we are located right across the street! Lauren has found her experience at CSM to be extremely eye-opening so far, and she loves “the way that Tracy emphasizes service projects and building lasting relationships within the body.”
We are so excited that Jen and Lauren will be spending the upcoming season with us! We’re so thankful for the way that God builds the CSM Family! If you are interested in investing your time into a Kingdom-minded internship, check out this link.
