Financial Credibility

Christian Service Mission aims to be a good steward of resources. Approximately 90 cents of every dollar given goes directly to our programs connecting resources with needs. Currently we spend 90% of our operating budget on programs, 4% on fundraising and marketing, and 6% on administration and operations.

We take seriously the need to focus our resources on serving the community, and are constantly seeking ways to improve the efficiency of our operations so that we can maximize our impact to the community.

Financial Disclosure Statement

Christian Service Mission (“CSM”) is a 501(c)(3) organization located at 3600 3rd Ave South Birmingham, AL 35222. Contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. CSM complies fully with charitable and state solicitation requirements. Contributions to CSM are accepted as general, designated, and restricted funds.  Designated funds are contributions given for a specific project or fund-raising program where any excess funds after project completion are automatically applied to the CSM general fund.  Restricted funds are contributions given for a specific project or fund-raising program that are accompanied by a Memorandum of Understanding, signed by both parties, that outlines the restrictions associated with the contribution. CSM controls 100% of the funds contributed. Requests for copies of recent financial statements, Form 990, annual report, or other financial information should be directed to the CSM office.
