Watching my grandson’s baseball team learn to work together reminds me how powerful unity can be. Whether it’s cheering on kids on the field or churches across our city, something amazing happens when people come together around a shared mission.
At Christian Service Mission, we long to see that same spirit shaping Birmingham. Togetherness isn’t easy. It takes humility, friendship, and a shared focus on what unites us: the Word of God, the love of Christ, and the truth that we are one family made in His image.
That’s what we’re building at CSM: one city, one Church, one mission. Over 100 partner churches serve side by side, and more than 60 volunteers faithfully give their time each week, some for just a couple of hours, others for more than 20, to help serve our city in love.
This year alone, our partners have served over 57,000 families, each one touched by the love of Christ.
When we serve as one Body for our King, Birmingham thrives.
