The fall at CSM is a time of deep focus and effort toward our mission: partnering with churches to impact their communities and advance the gospel by making disciples. And this year has been the most impactful in CSM’s history.

For 10 weeks, we hosted Saturday Serve Days, where churches came together to prepare food boxes and organize for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. Hundreds of volunteers joined from our partner churches, serving side by side with the shared goal of making a tangible difference. These serve days were not just about giving— they were powerful moments of building relationships and strengthening the body of Christ as we prepared for two of the most significant outreach events of the year.

This year, for Thanksgiving, we served over 7,000 families across more than 50 local churches. These churches were empowered to serve their communities, using resources to share the Love and Word of God. We’ve received incredible feedback from church leaders, many reporting that individuals who received help through these outreaches have since started attending services and experienced meaningful life change.

At CSM, our Christmas resources are collected and prepared all year, and this past year, we were blessed to share over $5 million worth of goods. These resources were distributed across 30 locations, reaching 30,000 families. Our Christmas stores were an opportunity not only to meet physical needs but also to share the powerful story of Christ’s birth, life, and salvation. As a result, many people made decisions to follow Christ, and we have heard countless testimonies of lives being transformed. In addition to local impact, we expanded our reach this year to five other states, helping churches in those areas advance the gospel and serve their communities. We are grateful that these resources have allowed us to partner with churches far and wide to fulfill the Great Commission.

At CSM, we aim to spend 75% of our time and resources advancing the mission of the Church. We are also committed to allocating 20% of our resources to support other nonprofits doing vital work to serve those in need, which is a blessing to our city. The remaining 5% is dedicated to disaster relief, as God leads us. This past year, we responded to Hurricane Helene’s impact in Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Through our faith partners in these areas, we sent 8 truckloads of supplies and over $500,000 worth of resources. Additionally, a team traveled to Johnson City, TN, where we helped rebuild 3 homes and 1 church in just one week. We are committed to returning to this area in 2025 to continue supporting the ongoing recovery efforts.

As we step into 2025, we do so with a seasoned team that exists to support churches in our area who are making disciples and advancing the gospel. Together, we are stronger, and when we operate in Oneness (unity), we are blessed to be a blessing to future generations.

Thank you for your continued partnership in this incredible mission. We look forward to all God will accomplish in the year ahead!
