We have found that God expresses His heart in many different ways here at CSM. Katy Sexton, our operations coordinator, recently testified to the ways that God loves on her heart through the generosity of CSM donors!
Responsible for inputting our donations, Katy has the opportunity to converse with God regarding CSM’s donors. The faithfulness of the people of God is extraordinary! While some give $5 and others give $25,000, Katy has witnessed people’s devotion to providing consistently. Katy claimed that the $5 monthly donations represent that our donors get God’s heart behind giving; it’s not about the amount, but the faith and heart of surrender that we attach to the gift. “Every bit matters to God, to CSM, and to those that receive the resources,” Katy says. The faith that our donors sow into our vision through their financial contribution is invaluable.
The abundant generosity of our donors also testifies that God is still in control. With a goal of $200,000 for our Annual Campaign, you all extravagantly gave $258,807- this is incredible! In a world of chaos and anxiety, it is powerful to witness and set our hearts on the reality that the family of God combats the fear of lack through the gift of giving. To give in such a time as this is indeed to be partakers of God’s grand story of redemption.
