As I look back on 2025, I’m amazed at the depth in which we were able to serve this year – maybe more than at any other point in CSM’s 55-year history. The initiatives we’ve been building over the last 15 years continue to show fruit, reminding me again that real transformation happens as we grow in our relationships with God and with one another.

This year, we had the privilege of supporting more than 200 church and community outreaches, reaching more people than ever before. One of the highlights for me was in June, when we took 120 Birmingham campers to Kids Across America. Over those two weeks, we saw 43 kids and one adult profess faith in Christ.

What’s been especially encouraging is seeing pastors unite around kingdom work. Churches are choosing to walk together and build deeper relationships, which is what makes CSM truly come alive. In September, we gathered 33 pastors to pray together and walk through the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. Earlier in the year, we partnered with United We Pray and saw more than 500 people come together to pray for reconciliation in our city.

We had a renewed focus on equipping churches. We supported 16 churches through benevolence training and launched a Faith and Finance class that helped 23 people grow in biblical stewardship. We’re excited to build on this momentum in 2026.

Thank you for walking with us with your prayer, support, and partnership in the Gospel. We’re beginning the year with a new 31-day devotional focused on praying for unity in the Gospel, and I’m also working on a 90-day devotional on kingdom living that I hope to share later this year. I’m grateful for you and all God is doing among us.
