Earlier this month, more than thirty pastors from across Birmingham gathered together at 16th Street Baptist Church to connect, pray, and reflect on the city we all call home. The time together included a meaningful morning at the Civil Rights Institute, where the weight of our shared history stood alongside the hope of our shared future.
While every church represented carries its own unique dynamics, common threads emerged, and these moments of unity matter. They strengthen relationships, deepen trust, and give us a glimpse of what renewal can look like when we work side by side.
At CSM, we count it a privilege to walk with pastors in this way. Each month, Tracy meets with more than forty pastors across Birmingham, building consistent support and connection that fuels gatherings like this one. These relationships are at the core of our mission—because when leaders are encouraged, churches are strengthened, and the city is transformed.
This truly was not an event, but rather an answer to many prayers prayed for the story we believe God is writing in Birmingham. In Birmingham as it is in heaven.

  • It was a blessing to see these thirty pastors agree to have this time of fellowship and dialogue among brothers in Christ. The photo “FROM DIVISION TO DEVOTION” was heartwarming. Prayerfully, this will be a recurring event. Satan does not want men of God to pray and collaborate. The organizer(s) are to be commended.
