Meet Hope – a woman who lives up to her name. We met Hope while teaching a Faith & Finance class for a local community partner, and we grew to deeply love her and see the Lord’s hand all over her story. Hope has walked through many deep hardships, but those have not broken her; they have been repurposed by God to form her into a woman who bears her name well.
When the class ended, Hope reached out and asked if she could serve with Christian Service Mission. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside her for nearly a year, watching her move from being served through the class to actively serving at CSM and in her local church. Hope is a member of Church of the Highlands’ Fultondale campus, and serves on the emergency response team, prayer team, and other various ministry teams. Her journey reflects the beauty of transformation that happens through relationship and community.
While Hope is still in a transitional season, the Lord is ordering her steps, giving her work, miraculously providing her a home, and rooting her in her local church. She leads a small group that she pours her heart and soul into. The Lord is doing transformative work in many hearts and lives across our city, and we couldn’t be more thankful to walk alongside the most amazing people. Pray that the Lord would bless Hope and meet her in all the ways she is seeking Him!
