This week’s Partner Spotlight is Rebirth Christian Fellowship! This non-denominational and multiracial church, led by Pastor Doug and Shay Taylor, was founded in 2001 and is known as a very community-oriented place. They are committed to “teach God’s people how to live” while “honoring God and helping people,” which is evident in the work they do in the community.
Rebirth has partnered with CSM for more than a decade to “teach life and touch the lives” of residents in CenterPoint and Birmingham, with a joint commitment to Christ and community. CSM partners with the work Rebirth is doing by providing food boxes, Christmas gifts, giveaways, and school supplies. Prayer is another important and powerful part of this partnership from both sides.
Rebirth’s most recent event with CSM was a pop-up food distribution day, where Rebirth was able to bless more than one hundred families with meals and supplies. CSM comes alongside Rebirth to spread the love of God, and we are thankful for their excellent leadership and faithful partnership.
