CSM is ecstatic that our commercial kitchen has now officially reached completion! This much anticipated three-year-long project will multiply our existing food ministry in many ways. To begin, CSM is welcoming non-profit vetern, Grace’s Kitchen, to the kitchen full-time! This partnership will enable Grace’s Kitchen to increase their capacity and use many of our food donations and produce from our gardens to feed those most vulnerable and food insecure in our city. Read more about Grace’s Kitchen HERE.
CSM is also excited about the possibility of Cooking Well, a nonprofit that was recently commissioned out by CSM to utilize the kitchen to teach cooking classes to underserved populations.
These goals would never have come to reality without the blessings of our sponsors and donors. Without these wonderful organizations and individuals coming together to help us accomplish this goal, we would have not been able to make this kitchen a reality. But God. He made a way through every obstacle and we believe our building is in the best shape possible to accomplish the many goals He has put in front of us. Through this project, as well as every other, we have seen countless individual donors and business owners meet needs at the exact right time and we pray that this kitchen will feed many, provide opportunities for relationships, and impact the Kingdom in big ways.
”Through the faithfulness of a few, many have come to see the glory and power of an almighty God. Praise be to the author and orchestrator of such happenings and praise be to Him for allowing us to witness and be a part of his grand story.
