Our construction team has been busy building the Kingdom of God in Birmingham this summer! Providing resources and know-how to local churches to ensure the safety of homes within their community is the heart of CSM Construction. The testimonies of the connections between churches and their neighbors have been nothing short of the beauty of God as a result of these projects.
This summer, we have replaced seven roofs, sided and painted two homes, and rebuilt a deck! One of our most impactful home transformations was the home of Mr. Gordon, located near our partner, Bethel Baptist Church (You may remember him from one of our previous stories). While we had the privilege of working on his roof this past March, the experience of replacing siding and painting his home with youth groups was a project to be remembered! CSM Construction joined efforts with Spirit of Joy, FUMC Scottsboro, and Eden Westside Church to construct a beautiful exterior of Mr. Gordon’s home- check out the transformation in the attached images!
We have found that the timing of God works powerfully through our Construction Team as they serve as the hands and feet of Jesus (More on that here).
